Canada’s Boreal Forest is in trouble. An area three times the size of France has already been degraded or destroyed. Species like the woodland caribou and wolverine are disappearing. Global warming is accelerating. And yet Abitibi-Consolidated and other logging companies continue to clearcut at an alarming rate.
